Make money online today is a snap!
Never before has it been so easy to make money online. I remember a few years ago it was much harder to make money online. You either sold goods, sold services, or had a blog popular enough to sustain an income via ads. All of those things were very hard to break into, as it was hard to exchange money, keep good records, and not go overboard with the hype. These days things are so much more different.
Ideas to make money online
I make all of my money online. There are literally hundreds of ways to do this now, including the older models, but I mostly make my money via self-publishing and freelance writing and editing. How do I do this? It’s all very simple. I’ll start with the easiest model, which is the freelancing.
I freelance writing by using sites that let me pick what I want to write and then write them. I get paid right away, and I make very good money doing this. It does require some skills. Obviously you have to be a good writer and be a fast typist to make it worth your while. It’s easy if you’re good at these things, but it’s also easy to become good at these things. Most of these jobs aren’t hard to get into either. You just have to prove yourself that you’re competent with words. Everything else falls into place.
Remember making money online is a business
Freelancing your editing skills is harder. Clients want more proof that you know what you’re doing. You have to really prove that you’re worth the money, and that they can trust you with their projects for there business. You also have to be careful with your rates. I charge higher, because my time is precious to me. I get fewer clients, but the ones I do get more than help my income. It works out very well for me.
Self-publishing is a different beast, and one I feel gets mistreated a lot. People don’t realize that making money online is a real business, just as if you made it offline as well. You can’t just slap something together and expect it to sell. You have to get your ducks in a row and treat it like the goods it is. I have subcontractors who do my editing and my cover designs. I also take my advertising very seriously, and keep up on social media as part of my job. It’s not a fun part of my job either. I have to take negative reviews to heart, but I can use them to better myself down the road.
Remember, if you want to make money online at all, you have to treat it like a business. Stay on top of it and be professional. The money is out there waiting for you to make it, but it won’t come to someone who is lazy and doesn’t take their work seriously. Whether you choose to do blogging, selling, services, or offer your own words to the masses, remember that it’s the masses who put that dollar in your pocket
